Urgent plea made after ute stolen with dog in the back

Canterbury police are urging to public to help “find sparky.”

Sparky had been sitting in the back of a black Nissan Navara ute, (reg. no. HNH331) when it was taken from outside a St Martins property at about 12.30pm on Saturday.

The dog is a black Border Collie/Huntaway-cross.

A police spokesperson said sparky’s owner is desperate to get both her dog and the ute back.
