There have been two separate ram raids in Christchurch on Friday morning.
Photo & Video International, on Papanui Road in Merivale was ram-raided this morning.
A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch police were notified of a ram raid at the store around 5:15am.
One person was taken into custody at the scene.

In an earlier incident, police received a report of a ram raid at Sue’s Takeaway and Convenience store on Pound Road, Yaldhurst just before 1am.
The offenders involved left the scene prior to police arriving and have not been located at this stage.
A scene guard is in place at the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate those involved.
