An Addington business has been targeted in a smash-and-grab early this morning.

At 2:00 AM, a car can be seen reversing and parking outside the store.

Four youths wearing balaclava masks get out and smash their way into the Hukka Vape Shop on Lincoln Road.

Manager Rishab told Chris Lynch the offenders smashed up 8 glass counters and main door and stole a lot of product.

“The store has suffered a substantial amount of loss. The cabinets are worth thousands of dollars.”

The store has only been open for a month.

“There was 8 police officers on the scene last night, and we were not to touch anything because they were going to send a fingers prints expert.”

A police spokeswoman said “police were notified of a ram raid around 2:35 am.

The offenders left the scene in a vehicle and have not been located at this stage.

Enquiries to locate them are ongoing.”
