The owner of a Papanui business is once again in clean up mode after his store was targeted by youths in a ram-raid.

Alex Vape Specialist store was raided at 5AM on Friday.

Owner Alex told Chris Lynch Media three youths used a Stolen Ute to reverse into the store, and left the scene in another vehicle.

Product and glass was shattered across the store floor and the front windows were completed smashed.

Alex said it’s the third time his store has been ram-raided.

“I just can’t believe it. I’m so angry it has happened again.”

A police forensic specialist was on site just before 9AM along with a glasier.

A police spokeswoman said police responded to reports of a burglary at a commercial premises on Main North Road around 5am.

It appears a vehicle was used to gain entry.

The vehicle was recovered and enquiries are ongoing the police spokeswoman said.
