Police have named the man who died in a collision Kaikōura on Tuesday 27 September.

He was 21-year-old Wilson Murray, of Marlborough. 

The crash happened on SH 1 near Mangamaunu.

In a statement police said “our thoughts and condolences are with Wilson’s loved ones.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
