A resident in Bryndwr says she’s feeling “a wee bit rattled” after a shooting incident.

A police spokesperson told Chris Lynch Media shortly before 7am, shots were fired at a house on Greers Road.

There were no injuries to the occupants, however, this is clearly distressing for them.

“The police investigation is in its early stages and we would like to hear from anyone who may be able to assist.”

A neighbour told Chris Lynch Media said those who live in the house “are relatively nice neighbours.”

“We are feeling a wee bit rattled, as we have two young children, whose bedroom window isn’t far away.

The neighbor said it “seems like an older lady lives there, with maybe teenage grandchildren that seem to come and go a bit.

We haven’t had any problems with them after living here for over a year.”
