Chris Lynch Media has captured the moment an a man was arrested by an AOS police in the Christchurch suburb of Richmond.
It follows a large scare police operation after officers tried to negotiate with a person who they thought had barricaded themselves inside a property in McLeod Street shortly after 3PM.
A local resident told chrislynchmedia.com that Armed Offenders Squad members have surrounded the house and are using a loudspeaker to urge the man to come out safely.
Then just after 5PM AOS responded to a two vehicle crash on Hills Roads, where a man was seen running from the scene.
Our camera captured the moment he was arrested. It’s unclear if his arrest is related to the AOS call-out, but the crash occurred just half a block from the police investigation.
