Graham Condon Rec and Sport Centre reopening

The pool hall at Graham Condon is reopening on Saturday.

The pool hall at Graham Condon Recreation and Sport Centre is reopening to the public from tomorrow (Saturday 1 June)! The planned maintenance work has wrapped up, and it’ll be business as usual at the centre very soon.

Now that this essential work has been completed, pop in for a visit from Saturday. View the opening hours here.

Annual organ curator’s free concert

Friends of the Christchurch Town Hall Organ Trust present Organ Curator’s Annual Concert – Enchore with Martin Setchell at the Rieger Pipe Organ this King’s Birthday this weekend. The programme will appropriately begin with an arrangement of the March from the Ode for the King’s Birthday 1769, written for King George III by William Boyce.

The free concert will be on from 2.30 – 3.45pm Monday 3 June at the Christchurch Town Hall. Koha donation is requested on entry and seating is general admission.

Early Childhood Education Fair

Come along to the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre from 10am – 3pm Monday for a day full of fun and learn more about early childhood education. The Early Childhood Education Fair is a free community fair and the first of its kind in Christchurch.

Enjoy a day with activities for all ages, performances, a dedicated under 5s play area, food and drink, and information stalls about study and career pathway, brought to you by the Pacific Early Learning Services and the Ministry of Education.

Sunday Maker’s Market

The Sunday Maker’s Market is on every Sunday in the heart of the Central City – the corner of Montreal Street and Worcester Boulevard. The market offers locally made goods from artisan crafters as well as food vendors.

Browse stalls from your local makers and have a bite of delicious food from local vendors. The market is open from 10am – 3pm Sunday.
