Meet local authors in a fun festival atmosphere!

Tamariki Book Festival is back, with another awesome lineup of local authors and illustrators producing books for ages 3 to 17. This year’s theme is dragons, so expect some fiery and monstrous fun! Have your face painted, help us create a giant dragon made of kids’ writing and drawing, meet some amazing authors and illustrators and pick up a autographed copies of their books.

There will be fun prizes to win, games, crafts, book readings, workshops and more! General bookings aren’t necessary, but if you book, we’ll send you an email reminder so you don’t forget. If you’re interested in a workshop, you will need to preregister, as workshop space is limited. See the individual Eventbrite listings for workshops.

You are invited to come along, order some delicious treats, and meet a few of our loving adoptables looking for their furever homes at Barefoot Eatery.

Join us at Barefoot Eatery (Central City, Christchurch), Saturday the 6th of July between 10 am and 1 pm to get some greyhound cuddles and to find out all about greyhound adoption and fostering.

If one of our adoptable hounds in the Christchurch area has caught your eye then you can reach out to [email protected] or [email protected] to see if you can meet that houndy there.  Tickets for Meet & Greet @ Barefoot Eatery
