Thundery weather has struck Christchurch this afternoon, bringing rain and hail across the city.
According to the MetService, today’s forecast included heavy, thundery rain with hail, strong and gusty southwesterlies were also developing, which were expected to clear this afternoon, giving way to fine weather.
