A power outage is affecting 448 properties across Clifton, Moncks Bay, Redcliffs, and Sumner this evening.
The outage was reported at 8.29PM on Tuesday, with crews dispatched to investigate the cause.
Chris Lynch Media understands a fire at a local transformer is the cause of the outage.
Streets impacted include Bay View Road, Cliff Street, Clifton Bay Road, Clifton Terrace, Hurst Seager Lane, Kakariki Lane, Kinsey Terrace, Main Road, Moncks Bay Lane, Mulgans Track, Panorama Road, Red Rock Lane, Starwood Lane, The Spur, Tuawera Terrace, and Wakatu Avenue.
The estimated restoration time is 10.30PM.
An Orion spokesperson said crews are working as quickly as possible and thanked residents for their patience.
