Police seek information on vehicle linked to serious assault in Southshore

Christchurch Police are appealing for information about a vehicle believed to be connected to a serious assault in Southshore on Thursday, 28 November.

At around 11pm, a person was assaulted and had their possessions stolen by a group of people in an unprovoked attack on Rockinghorse Road. The victim suffered multiple injuries, including broken ribs, and was taken to hospital, where they remained overnight. Police say the victim is now receiving support.

Police are seeking to identify the vehicle pictured, believed to be a white 1994-1999 Toyota Celica or a similar model. The car is thought to have been in the Southshore area throughout Thursday night.
