A man has been taken into custody after initially refusing to come out for police from a property in Woolston

Arran Crescent was blocked off by police just before 6PM.

A neighbour told chrislynchmedia.com a fire truck was also at the scene along with armed police.

The police spokeswoman said the man came out of the  property (about 6.45PM)

“Police will remain at the scene to conduct a search of the address and the man will be processed in due course.”
