Police have released the name of the man who died following a crash in Culverden on 15 April.

He was 73-year-old Linton Charrington Gardiner, from Waiau, Hurunui.

In a short statement police said “our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.”
