Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an unexplained death in Cheviot.

A police spokesperson confirmed to chrislynchmedia.com they were alerted to the sudden death at approximately 3.55pm on Wednesday.

“At this stage, the circumstances around the death are being treated as unexplained, and police are making inquiries,” the spokesperson said.

A scene examination is underway at the property involved, and a scene guard will remain in place overnight as investigations continue.
