Police remain at the scene of an “unexplained death” in Christchurch.

A house on Linwood Avenue was partially cordoned off by officers a local told chrislynchmedia.com.

A police spokeswoman said police were responding to a death at an address on Linwood Ave, reported just before 11am.

At this time, the death is being treated as unexplained, the spokeswoman said.
