State Highway 7, Lewis Pass Road, is blocked after a two-vehicle crash this morning.

A police spokesman said emergency services were alerted to the crash around 7:30 am.

One person has sustained serious injuries, while two others have moderate injuries.

The road remains blocked, and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.
