Emergency services remain at the scene of a crash involving a motorbike and a car on the intersection of Lincoln Tai Tapu Road and Ellesmere Road.

A police spokesman said the crash was reported around 4:15pm.

One person is in a serious condition.

The road is blocked and motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
