Police have confirmed one person has died in hospital following a serious crash on the Winton Lorneville Highway earlier this week.

The crash, which occurred on Tuesday, 21 January, left two people critically injured and requiring hospitalisation.

Oneof the individuals passed away on Thursday as a result of their injuries.

The second person remains in hospital in critical condition.

Police said investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing and expressed their condolences to the family and loved ones of those involved.
