Christchurch motorists heading home can expect delays following a crash off State Highway One.
NZTA said due to a crash blocking the right northbound lane on the Western Belfast Bypass, north of the Groynes Dr off-ramp, road users are advised to take extra care and to expect delays.
A Motorist told chrislynchmedia.com “main north motorway is at a near standstill.”
“A vehicle towing a car trailer and a New Zealand Couriers van were involved in the crash” the motorist said, with the van on its side.
Police were at the scene and traffic controls were in place
