A 78-year-old man who was reported missing in Hanmer Springs has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.

The man’s disappearance prompted a coordinated search effort, including Land Search and Rescue (LandSAR) teams.

Police have extended their gratitude to the search teams and members of the public who helped by sharing information about the missing man.
