Fire and Emergency crews were called to Willock Street at 11:30 AM after multiple 111 calls reported a house on fire.

Two fire trucks from the Kaiapoi Volunteer Fire Brigade were initially dispatched, but the response was quickly escalated, with additional crews from the Woodend Volunteer Fire Brigade and Redwood Fire Station joining the effort.

On Thursday, a police spokesperson said officers were making enquiries following the fire.
