Fire investigators are on the scene of yesterday’s residential garage fire in Bromley.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) shift manager told chrislynchmedia.com that they received “multiple calls” from the public around 12.30pm on Sunday.
When the two appliances arrived at the Munich Place property, the fire was “well ablaze”, and another crew was called in to assist.
The FENZ shift manager said the 7m x 7m garage fire was contained and did not spread to the house or nearby properties.
A police spokesperson said they were “notified of this and were going to make enquiries along with FENZ”.
