A grain silo at the Champion Flour Mill in Christchurch has collapsed onto a neighbouring car yard destorying vehicles.
Emergency services were called to Moorhouse Avenue at 7.40pm after neighbours reported hearing a loud noise.
No one was injured during the collapse.
Value Cars Sales Director Kirk Harcourt said “our business and cars have been crushed by the flour mill in Moorhouse ave.
“It imploded over our car yard destroying cars.”
