International pop star Liam Payne has died after a fall from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires.
Sources told entertainment outlet TMZ the singer had been vacationing in Argentina with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, before he died.
Payne and Cassidy arrived in Argentina on September 30, sharing happy moments of their trip on social media.
However, Cassidy reportedly left the country on October 14, while Payne remained behind at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
Payne was seen in Argentina attending his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert on October 2, according to videos posted to social media from the show.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that Payne’s behaviour had been erratic in the hours leading up to the incident.
Hotel staff allegedly called emergency services earlier that day, describing an “aggressive” male in the hotel lobby, which sources confirmed was Payne.
Around 5 PM local time, Payne fell from his third-floor balcony. It remains unclear whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
Payne joined One Direction at the group’s inception in 2010 after appearing on the show “X Factor.”

The group also included Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
Since the band announced its hiatus in 2015, Payne began a solo career, releasing the song “Strip That Down” in 2017 and the album “LP1” in 2019.
