Firefighters have extinguished a garage blaze in St Albans.
Emergency services received multiple calls reporting the fire on Rutland Street just after 8 pm.

The garage, located down a driveway, was well alight by the time the first arrived appliance arrival, with thick smoke attracting a number of onlookers.
Police also attended to assist with traffic control.

It’s understood a vehicle was in the garage, but no other structures caught fire.
No injuries were reported.
