Emergency services have been called to a crash in Lincoln.

A police spokeswoman said they received a report of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Weedons Road and Springston Rolleston Road at around 2.40pm.

A St John spokeswoman said they responded with an ambulance, rapid response unit, manager, and one helicopter to the scene.

“Our crews assessed and treated two patients who were transported to Christchurch hospital in a serious condition, one via helicopter and one via road.

The road was partially blocked while emergency services worked at the scene.
