Police have discovered a drug laboratory after raiding a Redwood house this morning.

In a statement, police said they executed a search warrant at around 7:30am.,

As a result, a clandestine drug laboratory was located.

A Police National Clandestine Laboratory Response Team addended the address to conduct an examination.

The investigation remains ongoing and further charges are being considered.

A 51-year-old man appeared in the Christchurch District Court today on charges of import/export drugs, and cultivating cannabis.
