The driver of an alleged hit and run on Bower Avenue has been identified police have confirmed.
A 14-year-old schoolgirl suffered minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle.
A police spokesman confirmed they received a report of the crash involving a car and a cyclist at approximately 3:12 pm on Monday.
The vehicle fled the scene following the collision a police spokeswoman said.
A local resident, who captured the incident on CCTV, reported hearing a noise and discovering the injured girl outside.
“It was pretty upsetting, and the young girl was clearly in shock, but thankfully her injuries weren’t serious.”
He reviewed his surveillance footage, which had recorded the crash.

It shows a silver vehicle knocking the young girl off her bike on the north bound lane and continues to drive on.
A police spokesman said they were expecting an update on the incident tonight.
