Three people have been injured, including one seriously, following a head-on crash in Halswell on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called to Halswell Road near Nicholls Road just after 7.30pm.

Two Fire and Emergency crews were among the first to arrive at the scene.
A police spokesperson said one lane was blocked, but traffic was still moving.
“Two people received moderate injuries and one person sustained serious injuries,” she said.

A witness said there were “lots of bystanders and neighbours were helping out. No one was trapped, but everyone was very shaken up,” she said.
Update: 16/04/25 12PM: A witness told chrislynchmedia.com they saw a dog on the road, which may have contributed to the crash. However, a family member later said the dog was actually inside the vehicle and came out during the impact.
