Airpark Canterbury has renewed its partnership with Chris Lynch Media, reinforcing its long-term support for independent local news in Christchurch.
Airpark Canterbury Director Graeme Harris said advertising across Chris Lynch Media’s multiple platforms had delivered measurable benefits for the business.
“Working with Chris has really worked for us — simple as that. We’ve seen direct results from our advertising, and the feedback we get from customers is they trust his news,” Harris said.
“It’s matter-of-fact, to the point, and they know what they’re getting.”
Harris said the decision to re-sign with a long-term agreement was an easy one. “We value the platform and the audience Chris has built. It’s local, it’s trusted, and it delivers.”
He said the exposure Airpark Canterbury had received through Chris Lynch Media had directly boosted brand recognition and helped grow its customer base.
“We’ve had people booking with us saying they saw us through Chris’ page or videos. It’s not just clicks — it’s real engagement and actual customers walking through the door.”
Chris Lynch said he was proud to have the continued backing of a successful local business that understands the value of community-driven reporting.
“Graeme and the team at Airpark Canterbury have been fantastic supporters of what we do. Their commitment allows us to keep delivering fast, fact-based news to local audiences.”

Chris Lynch Media was awarded a top trusted news rating by NewsGuard, an international organisation that assesses the credibility of news websites. It outperformed some of New Zealand’s biggest media outlets, including Stuff and RNZ.
Chris Lynch trained as a broadcast journalist at the New Zealand Broadcasting School and began his journalism career as a reporter for Newstalk ZB, before moving to television as a producer on TVNZ’s Close Up.
He later returned to radio as a talkback host on Newstalk ZB Christchurch, a role he held for nearly nine years. In 2021, he left mainstream media to establish his own independent local news company, building one of the most engaged digital news platforms in the region.
Airpark Canterbury operates two locations — Logistics Drive and Parking Island off Russley Road — offering affordable, secure parking for Christchurch Airport travellers.
Beyond business, Graeme Harris is also known for his generosity in the local community.
He recently funded a massive grocery grab for a lucky Christchurch winner, and paid school fees and extracurricular activity costs for children whose families are doing it tough.
“Supporting the community is part of our DNA,” Harris said. “We’re a local business, and we want to see local people thrive — whether that’s helping parents with school costs or giving someone the chance to fill their trolley without stress.”
