Stolen vehicle used in Woolston vape store ram raided

A vape store in Woolston has been ram-raided this morning.

A stolen vehicle was used to smash into Vape Nation on Ferry Road a worker on the scene said.

The offenders smashed through the front glass window and metal roller doors.

A police spokeswoman said shortly before 4am they were called to a commercial premises on Ferry Road in Woolston.

A stolen Mazda Capella vehicle was used to gain entry to the store.

The offenders left the scene in a stolen Primera. The Primera was later located abandoned on Dyers Pass Road.

The CIB is investigating to identify what was taken from the store and the offenders responsible.


A 36-year-old man was located and arrested in the area on another matter. 

When Chris Lynch Media visited the store, shattered glass was on the footpath with police emergency tape blocking off the premises.
