Local design and commercial construction company Apollo Projects has secured naming rights to Christchurch’s temporary stadium in Addington.
The stadium will be called Apollo Projects Stadium.
The agreement will be in place from 1 August 2023 until the end of life of the venue.
The temporary stadium has been known as Orangetheory Stadium since June 2019.
Christchurch’s new stadium in the central city is is estimated to be completed by mid-2026.

“Both Apollo Projects and Venues Ōtautahi are proudly local, take a community-centric approach to how we do business and are aligned in wanting to deliver the best outcomes for a region we are so proud of.”
The Stadium is home to the Crusaders and Canterbury Rugby. Other events held over the past year include Elton John, Snoop Dogg, SIX60, All Blacks versus Argentina, Football Ferns versus Korea Republic, and New Zealand Warriors versus the Melbourne Storm. The next upcoming major event is the Foo Fighters concert on 24 January, 2024.
