A total lunar eclipse will be visible across all of New Zealand next week.
On the night of November 8th, a reddish moon will be visible for 85 minutes from North America, parts of South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The shadow of the earth will start moving across the surface of the moon just after 10pm on November 8 and will reach maximum eclipse at midnight.
This will be the second lunar eclipse this year; the last one took place on May 16, 2022.
It will be the last one until 2025.
