Three people have been arrested following a police raid at a property in Richmond.

As first reported by Chris Lynch, police executed a search warrant at an address on Heywood Terrace in relation to firearms and drugs yesterday morning.

A police spokeswoman said a 35-year-old woman was arrested on drugs charges and possession of ammunition.

She appeared in court yesterday and was remanded on bail to reappear on 3 November.

“Today, police spoke to a number of other people linked to the address, which has resulted in two further arrests.”

The police spokeswoman said they were scheduled to appear in court today on drugs charges.

“The investigation is ongoing and we have no further comment at this time given it is before the courts.”

A neighbour of the house told Chris Lynch, she noticed armed police outside the property at 6.30AM.

“I tried to leave for my day but police said to stay inside.”

The neighbour said police called for someone to come out of the property using a loud speaker.

“One person came out, but police were still looking for another person” the neighbour said.
