An international search has begun to recruit for a Central Otago distillery and it is being called “the best job in the world”.

The Scapegrace Distillery is looking for an Assistant Distillery Manager and Master Blender, working alongside their current Master Distiller.

The position will be based at their brand-new $30m dollar Scapegrace Distillery, set to open in May on the shores of Lake Dunstan.

Scapegrace Co-Founder Daniel McLaughlin said, “This is the chance to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world and work in a state-of-the-art facility, helping to carve a path globally for New Zealand spirits.”
