A person has died following a crash on Hampshire Street last night.

Police were called to the single-vehicle crash at 9:46pm.

The person died at the scene.

Chris Lynch Media understands the vehicle crashed into a power pole.

The Serious Crash Unit attended and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing a police spokesperson said.
