A truck crash has blocked Lewis Pass, State Highway 7 this evening.
A police spokesman said emergency services were alerted about 7.15pm, after a truck and trailer unit overturned between Rogers Crescent and Hanmer Springs Rd.
The driver received minor-to-moderate injuries.
The highway will be closed for some time while the crash scene is cleared the spokesman said.
Emergency services will be letting small vehicle past via a single lane through the grass, however motorists should expect significant delays.

A motorist at the scene told Chris Lynch Media she’s been told to expect a 6 hour clean up, but authorities might let smaller vehicles through soon.
