Emergency responders are at the scene of a vehicle accident on Christchurch’s Summit Road.
The incident, involving a single vehicle, was reported shortly after 9 PM.
Initial reports suggest the vehicle collided with a bank.
Fire and Emergency personnel, including crews from Governors Bay, extricated the injured sole occupant from the vehicle.
Both Police and St John ambulance services are at the scene.
The occupant has suffered serious injuries and has been transported to Christchurch hospital by ambulance.
