Curated by award-winning young artist Oli Aikawa, the exhibition features works by renowned contemporary artist Toby Raine, New York-based creative innovator Henry Hargreaves, and leading sustainability-focused artist Ciaran Banks. Come along and check it out this weekend.

Earthquake Stories Walk

Join Our Stories Project for a guided audio walk of the central city, where you’ll hear stories from people who were in the city on 22 February 2011. The stories have been sourced from the CEISMIC digital archive held by the University of Canterbury.

You’ll be provided with headsets to hear these first-hand stories as we walk through the places where they happened. Make sure to book in for this free session, taking place at 10am Sunday from Quake City Museum.

Lyttelton Craft and Treasure Market

Come along to the weekly Lyttelton Craft and Treasure Market on London and Oxford Streets this Saturday! The market is on every Saturday, 9am – 1pm, rain or shine.

Check out the locally-made New Zealand handcrafts and vintage treasures. Take a look through jewellery, timber craft, clothing, woollen handcrafts, toys, natural body products and much more – plus, get to meet the owners.
