Work colleagues of a missing Christchurch man have described him as being “extremely well liked.”

63-year-old Stewart Willis was reported missing three weeks ago and has still not been found.

In a statement released on Sunday, police said they have concerns for his welfare.

He was last seen at his home in St Albans.

A former work mate told Chris Lynch Media “Stu drove a concrete truck and was extremely well liked by both colleagues and customers.”

“He was very helpful when delivering concrete and was a fantastic truck driver.

“He was a very private guy, I have known him for about 20 years but know nothing of his family. 

“Stu wore tops similar to the one police put up including checkered shirts.
