Police have been called to a Rangiora house tonight after reports of a Molotov cocktail being thrown at the property.

Fire and Emergency services received a call to the house at 9.30PM Wednesday.

A police spokesman told Chris Lynch Media police were in attendance at a residential property in Rangiora after receiving a request for assistance from Fire and Emergency. shortly.

Police were making inquiries to determine the circumstances of the incident.

A Fire and Emergency investigator had been called.

There was no fire and no one was injured.
