Family and friends of Ari Mustonen (also known as Asae Gold) continue to share loving tributes to the former Christchurch resident.

Ari died last Sunday, while celebrating his 35th birthday in Costa Rica, leaving his family and friends in shock and disbelief.

Ari worked as a life coach helping people cope with trauma.

His death was an accident and has shocked his loved ones across the globe, who are now rallying together to support his family.

Many people, impacted by Ari’s work, have paid tribute – including life coach Hellè Weston who summed up what many people have written.

“We miss you and I’m so incredibly proud of you and the way you held space with such love, purity and care for every human who found you.”

A Givealittle page was created to raise funds to cover the costs of bringing Ari back home to New Zealand.

Over $40,000 has been raised.

A celebration of Ari’s life will be held in Christchurch in two weeks.
