Multiple police officers remain at the scene of an aggravated robbery in Rangiora.

A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch Media police responded to reports of a robbery at commercial premises on High Street Rangiora at 4.10pm today. 

 A man entered the premises and threatened staff with a weapon the police spokeswoman said.

 There are no reports of any injuries.

 “There is no further information available at this stage.”

A local resident told Chris Lynch Media there was a police car and two undercover police cars parked in front of the bank.

A police officer was seen taking photos inside the bank, along with a detective and three other officers.
