Christchurch police say they’re not looking for anyone else in relation to the death of Canterbury University student Sam Finnemore.

The 19, died early on Tuesday morning on Matipo St, Riccarton, in Christchurch.

Detective Senior Sergeant Damon Wells said police are continuing to treat the death as unexplained.

A scene examination at an address in Matipo Street is now complete.

“Early indications are that police are not looking for anyone else in relation to Sam’s death.

Police would like to once again express our condolences to Sam’s family at this difficult time.”

His death will be referred to the Coroner.
