Emergency services were called to a single-car crash in Woolston this afternoon.

A car flipped upside down on Clydesdale Street near St Johns Street after hitting a tree.

Fire and Emergency crews responded along with ambulance and police.

A police spokeswoman said they were advised at 12.55pm.

Four people were in the car.

Police were talking to the young men at the scene.

A St John Ambulance spokesman said one ambulance responded and the crew assessed and treated four patients at the scene. No one required hospital treatement.

It follows a similar incident in Riccarton where a car rolled on Matipo Street this morning just after 7am.

In that incident, a St John Ambulance spokesman said one patient was assessed and treated at the scene.
