Three people have been injured after a car crashed through a residential fence in Cashmere and landed in a neighbouring property upside down.

A police spokeswoman said they were notified at about 4:15 pm of a single-car crash on Dyers Pass Road.

“The car left the road and rolled, “ she said.

“It appears that three people suffered moderate injuries.”

“The road was blocked while emergency services responded, but is clear now.”

Police, Fire and Emergency, and St John Ambulance crews attended the scene.

The daughter of the homeowner where the car crashed said there were 3 adults and 2 young children in the car.

She said “something really needs to be done about that corner as this has happened numerous times before, although this was definitely one of the worst we have seen over the years.”
