A man has died following a workplace incident at a property in Southbridge, Selwyn, this morning.

A police spokesman said emergency services were called to the scene on Glasseys Road at approximately 11:30 am.

WorkSafe has been notified, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatality are underway.
