Two men have been arrested following a vicious aggravated robbery at a popular Hornby dairy.
Around 7:30am on Monday, two men entered a dairy on the corner of Springs Road and Amyes Road, threatened and assaulted a staff member and left with stolen cigarettes.
It’s alleged the female attendant was dragged across the floor of the dairy by one of the offenders.
A police spokesperson told Chris Lynch a 37-year-old man appeared in Christchurch District Court today charged with Aggravated Robbery.
He was remanded in custody.
A 50-year-old man will appear in Christchurch District Court on Saturday 18 June charged with Aggravated Robbery.
