The aisles of PAK’nSAVE Hornby transformed into a racetrack as grocery grab winner Keith and his family raced to fill their cart in a festive shopping spree.
The event, organised by Chris Lynch Media’s news sponsor Airpark Canterbury brought smiles and excitement to staff, as Keith sped across the supermarket.
Keith, who was gifted the prize by a family friend tackled the challenge with gusto.
“Congratulations to Keith and his family for an amazing effort,” said Graeme Harris, owner of Airpark Canterbury. “And a huge thank you to Jen (the family friend) for her incredible generosity in donating this prize—it’s moments like this that make the season so special.”
Harris expressed his gratitude to the owners of PAK’nSAVE Hornby for their support in bringing the promotion to life.
“We are so thankful to PAK’nSAVE Hornby for getting behind this idea,” Harris said. “Their enthusiasm and willingness to help make this event happen truly reflects their commitment to the community.
It’s partnerships like these that allow us to create moments of joy for local families.”
This event comes at the end of a milestone year for Airpark Canterbury, which recently opened its second parking facility. Harris said the expansion marked a major achievement for the company.
“It’s been a big year for us, and this grocery grab was a fantastic way to wrap things up,” Harris said. “Being able to give back to the community during the holidays is the perfect way to celebrate what has been an exciting year for Airpark Canterbury.”
